Welcome to my new blog!!

It has been awhile since I posted anything and that is mostly because of some new developments in our life. Our daughter, Samantha, was diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) in January of 2014. This is a serious disease where the pulmonary artery has too thick of a lining, prohibits good blood flow to the lungs, and makes it hard for those with PH to breathe. There is no cure. It is progressive and we don't know how long we have with our little girl.

Note: I will not be using initials for Samantha, but will continue to do this for my boys TJ and TL. 

Needless to say, PH has changed our world. I will write more about it in the weeks to come, but that is not the purpose of this entry. I am writing this post to talk about the changes to the blog.

The new title to my blog is "Through Christ Who Strengthens Me" which is a quote from Philippians 4:13 in the Bible and happens to be my life verse. I will be using this blog to write about my experiences with 3 special needs children and centering each post around a Bible verse.

As PH has shifted my complete worldview, it has also brought me closer to God. I want to share in this journey with you.

BTW, all my old posts have been imported to this blog, so you can still peruse my previous ramblings. I have organized my postings so that those pertaining to Autism and PH have their own pages. I also added a new page called Articles, where I will be publishing some other content. You can easily navigate through the sections on the right-hand side of the page.
